Clear expectations. Better learning.

Privacy policy

Updated 23 October 2026. Read these rules together with the syllabus, price, access period and conditions shown for your course before enrollment. For support or a grievance, use our contact form.

Account and learning information

We process your name, email, phone, institution, roll number, hashed password, enrollment, viewing checkpoints, quiz answers, scores, submitted code and certificate records to deliver and protect your learning account. Support messages and security logs help resolve requests and investigate misuse. Do not submit passwords, OTPs or payment-card credentials in a support message.

Payments

Payment processing uses Razorpay when checkout is enabled. Asikru stores the order and payment references, amount, status and receipt details. Payment-card and banking credentials are handled by the payment provider. The payment receipt preserves the details applicable to that transaction, including its tax treatment.

Service providers and camera use

Hosting, email, SMS, protected video and verification services receive only the information needed for their function. A verification or proctoring notice identifies the selected provider and its processing, retention and deletion terms before you consent. A feature requiring those details remains unavailable until it is configured. Camera and microphone permissions are requested at the relevant step, rather than silently on the public homepage.

Face verification and examination monitoring

Where enabled, face enrollment, matching and liveness checks verify that the registered learner is present. The built-in verifier processes camera samples on Asikru’s server using face matching, passive photo/replay checks and randomly ordered movement checks. It stores an encrypted face template for later matching; identity-check images and expired challenge state are discarded. Examination monitoring uses device observations about every 12 seconds, plus server face, liveness and microphone checks at randomly selected intervals of 75–120 seconds. Device observations are indicators rather than independent identity verification. Selected incident samples are encrypted, available only to authorised reviewers, and deleted after 14 days. This is sampled monitoring, not continuous video recording. External verification, when configured instead, has a separately disclosed provider notice. Matching can fail and is subject to a support recovery process. Examination monitoring may process camera, microphone and review events as disclosed in its notice. Adverse decisions require human review and an appeal route.

Sessions, device binding and video

Essential browser storage and session controls support sign-in, forms and security. A random installation key is stored as a hash on the server to enforce the one-installation rule. Viewing checkpoints enforce lesson sequencing. Protected playback may use a moving learner watermark and pause when hidden. Supported native device controls restrict ordinary screenshots and recording, while browser and device limitations still apply. We do not sell personal information for advertising.

Security and retention

Staff access is limited by role. Passwords and installation keys are hashed, and service credentials remain on the server. Expired recovery codes and session tokens are pruned. Learning and support information is retained for the service and justified dispute or legal needs. Payment records may need statutory retention. Before biometric or proctoring collection, its notice must state the retention period, access, deletion and any review hold. Optional data is not retained merely because storage is available.

Your choices

Use the contact form to request access, correction, deletion, account closure, consent withdrawal or review of a verification issue. We verify identity before disclosing or changing account data. Where records must be retained, we explain the reason. Withdrawal can affect a feature that requires that processing; its impact and available recovery steps are explained before consent. The service is for adults; do not enroll a minor using an adult's identity.
